Mac OS X 10.6.x "Snow Leopard" Drivers
FirmTek Driver version 6.0.x and 5.4.x are compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit modes offered by Mac OS X 10.6.x
"Snow Leopard". These versions are also backward compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.6 or higher.

PowerPC based Macintosh computers - are not compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard". As a result, no driver updates are required for PowerPC based computers.
When to Upgrade
The firmware and driver updates below are for Mac OS X 10.5.x
"Leopard" and Mac OS X 10.4.x "Tiger" configurations. If your FirmTek controller is working well with your
current version of Mac OS we highly recommend not upgrading. This
falls under the heading, "If it's not broken don't fix it". While
FirmTek tries to make every new driver release better than the last,
there is always a chance that a new firmware/driver upgrade may actually
cause an issue with some configurations.

FirmTek System Cache Cleaner
FSCAPP is a small application designed to clear the System cache of driver information. It can be used to purge old driver information from Mac OS X after installing a new FirmTek driver. A restart is required after using this tool. Each firmware update archive provided on this page already includes the proper tools and installation instructions for completing an upgrade and does not require a separate download of FSCAPP. This download is simply available for trouble shooting issues where it appears that an old driver may still be present in the cache and causing compatibility issues.

PowerMac G4 Firmware
PowerMac G4 users should install firmware version 5.1.3 found below. Version 5.1.3 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 and will work better with PowerMac G4 configurations. Users with multiple FirmTek cards mounted in a single computer must install the same firmware version on all cards to avoid conflicts. When modifying firmware it is best to only have a single FirmTek card installed in the computer.
